Fudge is nice but it is bad for you so is Computer games?

Computer games are nice so does that make them bad? Are all things you like bad for you??? They say you will go a murdering spree, get bad eyes and become boring!

But look at FOG, hard to see isn't it but I mean UKchatforums! Look at us, Turbonutter builds web sites, some of us want to be designers or journalists and we are all damn right clever! It has become a pattern where i live everyone i know who is obsessed with Video games are clever (including Freak of the Dark, honestly). So does Video games make us clever or are clever people attracted to Video games?

Difficult one! You could say as most intellegent people lack popularity or skill and in order to fill the dangerous and fun aspect of our lives, which many "geeks" shall we say miss out on, we play video games!

But then again we might play computer games and in order to get past those guards in Zelda or finding that key we start to use our mind to figure out these problems that developers lumber us with! So are "geeks" attracted to Video games or do Video games somehow change us make us more intellegent?

If Video games make us better at maths then the Video game might not be as bad for you as some say but if not then we will have to constently listen to those nagging words of "you'll get square eyes you know" or "Why don't you get out more?"

So why do most people treat the Newbie's like they are 2nd class gamers and the Notables (and Tony) are treated like God?

Better than being someone with no respect i.e. Newbie with a Maroon colour than someone with respect i.e. Regular with a Purple colour.
Plus, I also get a bit more notice when it comes down to picking Noteables. (That's my one ambition on this site, more than winning GAD)

For me winning the respect of others is better than winning GAD.
