Anyone else started this again lately? I'm at the save just before Materia Keeper in Nibel Mountains. All my characters are LVL35. Forgot how damn good this game is.

Once you've got the sub, find the sunken gelnika, and fight the unknowns, make sure you save before hand though, they are ba**ards.

also the place you found cloud is good for leveling. try to catch some chocobos as the ones for that area are good ones.

See if you can find the cactuars, they have massive exp.

go to wutai do the mini sub level thing to beat the dons pet!!

then my tactics for the boss would be:

focus on the body with limit breaks and hard summons like odin, alaxeandra, and the rest. use comet and comet 2 and cure alot.

But where should I lvl?

Target the arms with ramuh and bolt, set up regen but before that cast M-barrier.

At LvLs 46-51, where should I go LVL?

i cant even remeber this boss... had to look in my old book thing. i must have beat him as i leveled up alot before the underwater reactor. so he must have been a walk in the park for me. lol. but youve done well to have got so far in such a short time.
