I think we need a thread devoted to the whole GTA series as a new installment is going to be released soon.

So in here you can talk about past memories of early GTA games (e.g GTA, GTA2 and GTA London)and the more recent versions (e.g GTA3 and GTA Vice city) and what you would like to see in the new GTA San Andreas.

This should be mostly about the GTA series but you can chat about other things as well Enjoy :)

yes, very different, there are 3 and they follow you around occasionally 1 gets lost and so you have 2, they are not as good as real bodygauds but they do the job, they cost about £200 for three and will get in all veihcals including the seaplane, and im not sure if they take guns though they security gates at the airport and golf corse, and just a note they like to play golf.

Unitedlegends, what's the 159 in your username for?

These bodyguards people are on about, are they the ones you get when you aquire the Mansion, and the ones that appear around your other properties as you buy them? If so they are indeed crap.

And someone mentioned getting bodyguards once you complete the game 100%, are they any different from the other guards?

Yeah that would be so cool. Imagine you had to kill some gang. You could have a sniper on a roof, two guys to go in and kill a few of them and you could stand back and throw a grenade right into the middle. That would be great fun.

San Andreas should go back to being a straight forward crime sim like GTA3. If the GTA series becomes too complicated it won't be much fun. Give me a well designed city, around ten weapons and a great storyline and I'll be more than happy. Basically, GTA3 again, but with a new story.
