But I noticed something, and it was in the "Teenage Dirtbag" video as well.
Some gurning bloke leaping around and shaking a tambourine and playing little bongos. No instruments, he just appeared to be ther jumping around in the back of the videos.
Happy Mondays had Bez, a cadaverous bloke that danced like he was being peppered with machine-gun fire and had maracas.
The Prodigy had Leroy, a lanky chap that danced about in the background and pointed a lot at things.
Why? Why do some bands have these people that don't play any instruments but are "one of band", when they clearly just shuffle about and play un-miked things and point at the audience?
Liam Gallagher can't quite manage that though, he hangs it round his neck whilst he grunts his lyrics
