Besides, I need all your expertise on this one.
Whenever I play a top difficulty computer player, if I throw or fire a projectile at them then they can effortlessly reflect it in my face using the standard shield (so it's not like Zelda or Fox's special reflector, it's standard shield).
But I spent ages on training trying to do the same trick, but couldn't...
Is the computer cheating or am I doing it wrong?
I'm trying to shield last minute but it either shields it without reflecting or hits me. Can it be done.
I think I remember pulling it off when I was first playing it, but that was nearly 2 years ago! :-S
So have any of you mastered this trick?
PS. I'm thinking of challenging those Gamesville guys...
Anyone fancy taking me on on a face off?
The winner gets to take on those presenters! :D
"That's "[email protected]""
"What's that Darren?"
"Why, it's "[email protected]", homie."
"What up, G?"
"Bo."
"GRAPHIX!!!11!"
You're VERY out of touch with the game! :-)
And Dringo, we're going to have to organise this for real. :-)
I think it has something to do with the c-stick, not sure though;)

Well you might have a car with crap acceleration then. Unless you have Toad and Toadette's cars then that would be the reason.

Probably because the race has just started and I was first on "the grid", and I got a "boost start", and you don't start with mushrooms.
You have to do a "Smash Shield" where you tap then shield.
Comes so unnaturally and I keep accidently rolling.
It might be because I had to do it one handed in the training mode (the other firing shots from my opponent! :-D).
And Dringo, you're going to have to practice hard to take on "the boyz" seeing as it'll mean getting through me and all! ;-)
We'll have to arrange that for real.
A Face Off on Gamezine.
I'd be Samus.
Who would YOU use? :-)
