On the "What's happening with Gameaday topic," I lost my temper when a little when finding out that cheats had won-when I was hoping to win for a review of Red Faction I'd written.

I'm very sorry for getting so angry. I've been here long enough to know the rules, and I shouldn't complain.

Anyway, the main reason was that I just hope people aren't winning for copying key combinations onto SR from sites such as SR.

I don't mind people winning for tips, or cheats they've found themselves. Of course, we don't know if they're copied or not-which is why I am apologizing.

This is the final time I'm going to enter this petty conversation, as I AM a busy person. I work, on average, 9-10 hours per day. Sometimes we have to work late and I have been known to stay past 10 o clock on many occasions. During magazine period, we have to work even longer hours, often past midnight. Gameaday takes a maximum of about 2-3 hours each day - all discussions have to be searched, all reviews read and checked and all cheats added. Three hours a day might not sound like much to you Dan, but when you are reading discussion posts for 15 hours a week, it tends to feel like it's dragging on a bit slightly.

Please, if you feel I don't work hard enough, feel free to come in to work and stand behind me with a whip, forcing me to work harder.

I found out a quirk in Goldeneye all by myself, anybody want to hear it? thought as much.

Does seem that those two things are kind of contradictory though.

"EVERY SINGLE ENTRY is looked at and checked - do you have any idea how long this takes? It takes AGES Dan, absolutely ages, the sad thing is, the more popular it gets, the longer it takes to check. Each review submitted is fed into a few search engines to see if it has been copied, and we check some other review sites that we know of to see if it is a fake - how much time do you think that takes?

To suggest that Gameaday is not on our list of priorities is childish and clearly ignorant - if you knew how much of my day is taken up selecting winners and reading through discussion posts, maybe you'd feel differently."


So, how many hours do you have in your day? I am not having a go AT ANYONE OTHER THAN THE FACT, THE SHAMEFUL FACT that some people get away with CHEATING (read carefully Goatboy - c h e a t i n g, not submitting cheats), not that they actually get away with it - but the sad aspect that they ACTUALLY DO IT.

They shouldn't cheat, and if I am emailing to inform you, plus give you the place of where they cheated from, then maybe I'm a complete backside hole right?
