Now the inital buzz has died down somewhat, I'd like to know your honest opinions - I have Gran Turismo 2 on the PS 1 which I've completed about 15% of, and is a superb game.
Is GT3 REALLY that much better than GT2 in terms of actual gameplay? I understand the graphics are superb, and so theys hould be, but as I'm loving every second of the gameplay in GT2, I don't know if GT 3 is really worth spending £40 on.
Your opinion - should I wait, complete GT 2 first, THEN buy GT 3, or is GT 3 really that much better - and remember, I'm thinking gameplay here as well as graphics.

Oh you will be, but maybe not straight away. My first impressions were along the lines of "Meh, its good I suppose" but after a while these changed to "Argh this Goddamn game is depriving me of sleep its so good"
the only gameply difference really is the analog buttons which allow you to keep a constant speed,softer braking and makes tail gating and a whole host of other things possible.
Worth getting for £35 no doubt about it.
by the way has anyone noticed how small the GT3 save file is it's under 100kb.

Don’t get GT3 if you are having fun with GT2, it’s just not worth it.
Get your moneys worth out of GT2 first, then when you are ready for some serious car racing- get GT3!
