i heard about that north point mall cheat all it does for me is get my buggy stuck in the doorway so i can't go out.
Damn me for getting the X-Box version.

I tried it and it worked. The buildings come back after about 10 seconds anyway.

I haven't actually tried that cheat myself, I read it in a mag ages ago and I've been meaning to try it out for a while now. I just haven't had the chance yet.
Wow! I had no idea that was possible. It must look really weird with no buildings! Does that mean there are no roads and floors also? I suppose everything would be flat too, which would look bizarre.
That's one of the strangest cheats ever!
On the subject of cheats, there is actually one I really enjoyed, and that was in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the megadrive. There was a cheat where you could turn yourself into any object on the level, and then replicate that object. In conjunction with the supersonic cheat, you could create rings and turn into the little gold fellow repeatedly, which was fun. It was great playing that two player though, and unleashing the bad guys against Tails.
