For the next 2 weeks I am doing work experience at a company called Quinton Hazell in their IT section. I had my first day today... just gave me a CD drive, a load of disc, and a really old PC and told me that they wanted this PC (with no OS or anything) to be on Windows NT, with a load of software and CD drive, and that it will be used as the head antivurus compauter at their northern HQ. Should be fun:)
(Actually, I'm serious... my boss is a pretty cool guy... and I don't have to work "all" the time ;) lol)
Then, after that, I'm off on holiday (THAILAND!!!!! woo hoo!!!), for 2 weeks! I come back on the day I get my AS results! :o
And then... I *could* be starting my dream job working part time in Gamestation:):):) great perks, good pay, all the latest imported consoles to play on ;)
NiGHTS!
Good luck in your job and hope everything go's well for you.
RBS.
> Wow, thats my dream job. What job is it?
incase u have actually read the original topic and I didn;t make it clear:
Quinton HAzell make car parts and are HUGE distributers... hence they have an international computer network... based in nunteaton. I am doing work experience there, and you will find from my previous posts what jobs I have done for them.
Anyway, if u were refering to the "dream job" I might be getting... part time in Gameststion (like EB, but better)... good pay, perks and discounts:)
NiGHTS!
Now I have been given a laptop... which I have just erased the hard drive from, and will now have to re-install a load of stuff (I was meant to do that incase it's not clear! lol). Having some driver problems though... ah well! At least I'm in my own office, with 3 computers totally at my disposal :) Oh, and I have my own fridge and microwave:)
wahahaha
NiGHTS!
I was lucky enought to get into their IT department!!!
The good thing with that is I found it quite easy to do as I know a lot about computers already.
Although I did learn a few new things about how computers are used within businesses.

Any chance you'll be getting orders from SR so they can sell software?
