Some of them look great, but I've never thought about clicking on one.
Do they actuall generate a high click rate?

Not being funny, but that figure is a bit tragic. Is it really worth having? No wonder loads of internet sites are closing. Are they all that low?
People may not click on them as they may think it takes them away from the page they are looking at. You may get more clicks if the link opens in a new window. Or if it's possible, when the link is clicked, a little dialogue box could pop up asking if the person wanted the link opened in the existing window, or a new one.
Maybe thats why the click rate is so low.
The exception is probably ads like the getdotted.com advert , people wouldnt know that that was associated with SR unless they are a member.
Why not try a banner without as much info to see what happens to the click rate??
Is it? Or is it not?
Also, I have done about another 15 of them, which are much better than any others I have done? Does SR want them?
Thanks

I wonder - do people think they lead off the site? Some banners go off-site, but most don't. Do people realise they are mainly for internal avertising on this site?
