I'm wondering if the comet which may have brought us here is the one that wiped out the dinosaurs.
we may be responsible haha

Theres a statement that screwed with my head...
The universe the most boring thing on the face of the earth...
Just possibly the most important statement ever made by man
:)

Whoa your in a mood aren't you,
I'm just suggesting that maybe dinosaurs and everything living thing around us now aren't related cus if we were than why weren't we wiped out with them braniac?
i did laugh when that scientist said
"we can't do that here we'd blow up the solar system" haha
I think it was the first Equinox in this series did something on global warming.
It goes something like:
More carbon in atmosphere -> less rain -> trees dying -> more carbon in atmosphere -> global warming -> some stuff at the bottom of the sea melting -> more carbon and sulphur released -> higher temperatures -> everything dies.
Apparantly happening now and within 100 years the average temperatue could go up 8 degress, which is enough to start this chain reaction off.
Thank god I'll be dead by then.
That dude is Sunday afternoon in human form.

I didnt see the programme... But I would presume any life brout by a comet would be single celled life...
Or, I would suspect t more likely that if a comet did bring life to earth, it would have acted more as a catalyst rather than as a method of transportation...
(since the comet bringing life doesnt solve any qiuestions about our origins, it just makes more, (How did life begin on the plant the meteor was part of? Was the life on the coment the only life, or was their other life?, etc...))
The time required for a single celled lifeform to evolve into anything resembling a human would take far longer than the time between the extinction of the dinosaurs.
(although, personally I'm very much in doubt about it being a comet that wiped out the dinosaurs..)

Are you an idiot?
If LIFE came to earth on a comet and if it was a comet that wiped out the dinosaurs, then of cause it was NOT the same comet. I hope you get my point otherwise you had better go back to kindergarten and hopefully this time learn something.
I've watched all those 'Horizon' and Channel 4 programs on Space anyway :)
God its late :D
