After due consideration here are the results.
Everybody wants User Profiles.
RBS says lean some of the GAD prizes towards lesser forums to boost them and he suggests we include a "what's going on in the forums" or "forum news" somewhere.
Gaming Boy would like to see more input from the staff to start topics and kick-start discussion.
Grix suggests we have a tournament where we all download game to our PC and play against each other.
er-no wants a "who is here" link. You click on it and it tells you the names of most recent posters (good idea). And er-no wants the Notables to be given something to do (a request which I have just complied with in Chat forums)
TheBest_2K1 is keen on putting people in a hot seat. Everybody fires questions at the poor so...
Quazimodo would like links to your "Latest Post" and your web site url in your stats window (excellent).
Meka would like us to hold a song contest and have counters to see how many people have read a thread. pb backs this up with a similar request on reviews.
Cookie Monster suggests a Cluedo-style murder mystery event.
Dan2K1 would like on-line darts.
Dringo is keen to repeat some "Opposite Posts" - I believe this is intended to be head to head challenges on specific arguments.
Chr!stos says we should sometimes vote for Gameaday winners, instead of them being always picked by staff.
Salevunit suggested a Winning Posts Forum (view only), plus Tag of the Day competitions, Search Facilities and Caution Tags. The latter is a particularly strong suggestion, i.e. to give warning tags to people likely to face a ban.
BUT THE WINNER IS:
The prize is for the best SET of suggestions. The winner is SHEEPY for the following ideas:

Round Number Prizes (e.g. at 10,000 posts in a forum)
"Number Day" I think this means we would all be anonymous.
Vote people off the forums Big Brother style (love that).

Every week on a random day SR select a forum where a debate or chat session is held, it could be on current political topics or gaming or anything else that springs to mind....
I love it when you are in a topic and people are posting at the same time seriously on the same topic, its great! This needs to happen more often so by selecting a specific topic and date and time the life in the forums would increase.. making it even better!

well yeah obviously! By what they want I meant about gaming or sprots or whatever within reason. And I also said that SR should give them guidelines. Oh and my name is not RastaBillyShank it's RastaBillySkank or just RBS.

6. A search engine for things not on the site. People could find alot more things.
7. A target word and post count per day/week.
8. A link to every users website. People could view them and rank them on Special Reserve. People could also add a comment about the site.

add again somewhere how to become a regular or a notable , how long you have to be here and how many posts you have to have , you could also add more stages in becomeing a regualar , notable or beyond , between newbie and regular you could have newreg (couldn't think of anything better) , between regular and notable you could have advanced dude , and the highest rank could be Guru ! or something like that.
Shaneo's bound to accuse me of stealing his idea on this one but I swear I had the idea before I read Shaneo's.
So here we go:
Create a page on the site on which only trusted regulars (Who have proven themselves to be worthy web designers) Are given the password and right to update and maintain the page.
The people would have to prove themselves to be good first though. They'd have to create a site and then someone from SR would have to go and look, and if it was up to standard, they would be given the password.
If one of the people leaked the password then the password should be changed and the user banned from the page. The password would be given out via e-mail.
I really do think this idea would work it'd require practically NO programming from SR.
As to the content... whatever the updaters and maintainers want! Perhaps SR could give them a few guidlines but mostly it'd be up to them.
