I think they meant that you just don't drown.
Not that getting around by swimming would be a good idea.

I'd rather just see a cut-scene or something of you swimming back to shore, rather than having to do it - which would, I predict, be very slow.

But they should have jet-skis as well.
Most of the boats are far too clumsy.

rockstar touched on this with the news papers in GTA3, but how about a news stand with different news everyday, like, britney in lesbian sex romp, or micheal jackson buys a school etc etc.

swimming does'nt really make sense unless u can only carry 1 weopen at a time, or only carry 1 for when swimming.
