If you'de have put each word in a different post, then this topic might have reached its target.

880 words?! Ah, that sucks. Next time I'll have to break the thousand-word barrier. Now, better hide myself in a cave and think of something to talk about...

OK people, I've decided to contribute to this post but only so that I can get my word target nearer 10,000 words! I wouldn't bother reading the rest of this post because it'll probably bore you to death!
You're absolutely right, Strafex. I'm struggling to think of things to talk about at the mo (my Duke Nukem Forever post was a bit on the lame side). I am just so excited about what Ninntedo are going to show at Spaceworld. The thought of drooling at downloaded vids of the latest Zelda AND Mario makes my salivary glands ache just thinking about it! However, it's slightly unfortunate that we didn't see anything of a Mario game at E3 this year because it suggests that there won't be a Mario game at launch which is just, in my opinion, WRONG! Honestly, it just won't be the same as last time without Mario to take you on through the night (at every Nintendo console launch, I have a 24 hour play-a-thon on it!)
Another thing that concerns me is the ways of the UK - I hate it. I'm no politician and don't really understand all the extra costs in realising a conosole, but I don't see why we should have to pay so much more than anyone else (the UK is also the most expensive place in the world to get connected to the net). OK, that isn't too bad, considering the Gamecube will be so cheap for what it is. The thing that REALLY annoys me is the fact that we get everything LAST. The wait is unbearable as it is, but to think that Japs will have been getting months of pleasure out of their little purple (or whatever colour they choose) boxes before I can even tear the tape around the edges off mine is really depressing. I'm seriously considering purchasing a U.S. version of the Gamecube but I'm not sure what other added cost there'll be (like a new T.V. with NTSC playback). And, ofcourse, once the Gamecube does finally reach these shores, I'll wish I'd never done such a stupid thing and will feel sort of 'alone'. But then I'm not taking into consideration the fact that those Yanks will still get all the non-launch games before us aswell. OK, I've made up my mind to get a UK Gamecube, now I have to consider where I'll get it from. If i get it from Special Reserve, I can pre-order months before release and secure my magical box of tricks, and, at the same time, probably bag myself a free memory card or something like that. Howeever, if I do this, I'm worried that I might now actually get my machine of launch day due to the transport of it. When do they actually recieve their machines? On launch day or the day before? If the former is the case (which would mean I'd get my machine late), I'd simply camp outside my local games shop all night and then need to hire two bodyguards to protect me when I venture outside the shop (I'm a frail old man) which would cost me about as much as a U.S. Gamecube and new TV! Then there's the problem of keeping up appearances. All my friends call me a bit of a snob and so sleeping outside a shop all night in a sleeping bag isn't going to help my reputation is it? Oh well, this decision will have to wait until I can ring up good old Special Reserve and find out the facts.
OK, next up, I've finally got my Gamecube and want to show it off to all my friends. How do I go about this? Do I invite the whole of Hereford into my living room and run the risk of some drunken fool dispatching the contents of his stomach over it? And then ofcourse, there's all those sweaty hands groping my treasured controllers, and throwing them to the floor when losing in a deathmatch of whatever shooting games the 'Cube gets at launch. On the other hand, I could just sit at home all day and all night on my tod, alone with my Gamecube. If this was the case, I would feel a lot more comfortable, in the knowledge that I'm the only one touching the Nintendo creation. However, I'd start to play the games and then get this warm, fuzzy feeling inside. A feeling which makes me want to drag all my friends over a.s.a.p. and show them the wonders of luigi's mansion and Starfox Adventures. But then, I'm back to my original scenario, aren't I?
As you can see, for me, the Gamecube launch day isn't a simple case of waking up early, handing my dush over at the local games shop and then playing on the Gamecube for the rest of the day. This day (hopefully sometime in February, needs careful planning, which is exactly what a Nintendo console launch day deserves. Oh boy, things could get very interesting.
OK everyone, you can come back now, I've finished! Guys GUYS! What's that I hear you say from a distant place? You've all left? You're living on mars?! Aliens have taken over the Earth! Ah! What's THAT outside my window?! Mummy!
