"Is GT3 hard?"

I was pleasantly surprised to notice that the AI of the opponents is very impressive. It is not easy to play the Arcade Mode on the Hard difficulty level. After playing for about 2 hours today I only won 4 races on Hard.

Is anyone having problems with the game. do u find it hard at all? How s everyone progressing in the Arcade Mode

Yeah thats what I am going to do since I havent done any championships yet.

I only save after each race in championship mode. If its single races then I dont bother as if coming 2nd gives me quite a bit of cash then I wont reload. In championship mode I want to get max points and max cash so I save after each race.

I never save before races.I just race it and if I do come other than 1st, I will still get money.So the more times I muck up,the more money I get

I did start to but I came 2nd in a race once and I didnt bother to reload. I have won about 180 something out of 180 something + 2. So I have come 2nd or lower in just 2 races.

Normally on games I try to get perfect records and have top scores on anything, but I couldnt really be bothered to keep the 100% record. In a championship I save it after every race so that if I do muck up a race I will start again becuase I want the money for first not anything lower.

Is anybody else maintaining a 100% win ratio on GT mode? I had to load up again once when I lost (to an inferior car as well, duh!). Apart from that, I`m just keeping up the win rate. The thing is though, now that I have got the good cars, e.g Mazda 787B, and the Escudo, its not hard at all. The only challenge is the golds on the licenses, and finishing off arcade (but then you can use your own car so...)

Personally, Ive found GT3 to be both mindnumbingly adictive aswell as being the toughest challenge on the PS2. Getting that 'S' licence is incredibly difficult...
Not to mention having blistered thumbs and square eyes, my girlfriend hates me, Ive lost weight, Ive got black under my eyes, I keep finding the stupidest excuses to get out of work and to top it all off, Im no bloody further in the game than I was well over a week ago.
Yes, I am probably very sad, but then, I KNOW Im not the only one like this...want proof?
May I remind some of you that Championship Manager 2001/2002 is out in 2 months..........
Back to GT3...superb game, very difficult, but who cares?
Who ever said life was easy? Besides, Action Replay 2 was invented for idol plebs like me that give up after well over 100 hours of playing and several fights with the TV & PS2......oh the joy of computers.
Am I just sh**e now Im 24, or is there more you like me?

You also get a car when you do medium. But do hard as thats better. When you complete a section it doesnt tell you what car or cars you have got, just scroll through all the classes to see if you can find a new car.

Yeah you only get bonus cars if you complete a section on hard.If you complete the Arcade mode on Easy you get a prize but I am not telling u what it is.By the way if you complete a race on Hard it also counts as Easy and Normal so u dont have to do them again

Does it tell you in any way that you have won a car on arcade mode? like a screen saying "well done, here's an audi" or something, cos i have done sec.A in normal and it hasnt shown anything. is it only on hard that you get the extra cars for the sections?

I agree Triple_H that GT3 has tons of cups to race in and very nice cars to win. Iam still doing beginner as I want to complete all of that first then move to the next league. I am tuning my Rally cars that I won for doing all the rally races. There is so much to do in GT3 that I dont want to rush throught it easily.
