Morning everyone or afternoon for those who have been up for more than 30 mins :D

Anyway I thought I would do the average amount of words for each poster on here... just for fun.

I have an actually very poor average word length I think... I need to post another 150,000 words in 200 posts to draw level with Meka :D

Although I have noticed since this 'Top Posters' has went up people have blatently spammed for posts and word length... you know who you are :P. I myself have done it once or twice but am proud in the fact I have not spammed 'a lot'.

So here we go.

1) Grix Thraves - 38 words on average per post (etc)
2) Sniper - 17 words (Lowest - well done snipe)
3) RBS - 29 words
4) er-no - 40 words
5) Ant - 64 words
6) FM - 65 words
7) Turbonutter - 30 words
8) Your Honour - 46 words
9) Tony - 31 words
10) Dan2K1 - 64 words
11) Goatboy - 56 words
12) Meka - 78 words (Highest)
13) Sheepy - 35 words (not bad)
14) Time_Warp - 23 words
15) Wookie - 58 words

Well that was fun :D

Note: Numbers have been rounded up as for example Ant was 63.5 so it goes to 64... happened on many occasions.

I remember not that long ago you got banned for spamming... and that spamming word count and post was never taken off from your account if I remeber... so don't play the high moral ground with me :P

Well thats all very well er-no... but here is my story.

I have been posting very frequent since late September 2000... on nearly every day and have the FOG in one of my many windows every day... sometimes posting decent stuff at fair length and sometimes the occcasional 'cheese' message.

Very rarely do I use the 'reply quote button' as many other people do... it is extremely annoying when someone does that with your work that you had been doing previous 20 mins or so only for them to get more words.

What I am saying is I only post when I feel I should at certain points... always starting a discussion or replying to someone... this however results in me having one of the lowest word counts because I try to make the forums more welcoming and in order.

Well thats just fine :P

....I don't take any of these stats seriously as everyone has a different style in posting, looking at the relationship between what you have just posted and the topo posters shows us many things.

Sniper never really uses the 'reply with quote' when he is posting, if he were to do this then his word count would double.

I (er-no) hardly ever use the 'reply with quote' when I am posting, I find it extremely annoying when people quote others posts which are of any length, and when I do use a quote it will be edited to what is needed, so I feel that my word count would very easily be double if not more if I were to use the reply with quote more frequently.

Ant would be my example of someone who uses the quote button a lot, for there is nothing whatsoever wrong with this as what ever Ant posts is worth a read but it just shows us what a difference that button makes to these stats which mean a lot to some people who even SPAM to move themselves up the list!

If I were to use the reply button on more often I reckon this would be my stat:

4) er-no - 75 words

Sheepy is clearly very bored :-D
