Where's the snow? Where's the frost? Why am I not waking up in the morning and walking around the house in my duvet because of the cold. Why doesn't pb have to scrape the ice off his car windows before he goes to work. Where are the reports on TV telling all the kids their school is closed for the day because it's snowing.

This winter is very disappointing, rain, floods, rain, floods, strong winds, rain, floods, you get the idea.

The lack of frost, snow and so on has really been disappointing, though at least it means I haven't needed to wear gloves much. It hasn't snowed round here in some time, which really is a shame... and the last time it came close to snowing was last February, and I missed that as I was in Germany at the time!

The British cold season is actually quite late, nearer the end of "winter" and the start of spring. Don't lose hope yet - February tends to be rather chilly.

And speaking of flooding, I was out delivering this morning for my dad and had to deliver to a tea room on the edge of the Broads (I'm in Norfolk). When I arrived, I couldn't help noticing how high the river was. Then I found out that I should have worn wellies for this round, because the back entrance to the tea room was flooded. I wish they'd warned me. I wander if I can get compensation for moistening my "trahzers"
