So, do your classic games start from the 80`s or are you from a younger generation with only the likes of your Playstation games collection to go by?
Is BLACK & WHITE top of your list, or are you still playing FALCON PATROL on your Commodore 64 (Remember that one, Mr Shanks!!)
Please try to also note which format the game was one if you can.
For the record, here are my top ten - traditionally given in reverse order...
10) COMMAND & CONQUER: RED ALERT (PC)
9) POPULOUS (AMIGA)
8) LASER SQUAD (CBM 64)
7) URIDIUM (CBM 64)
6) PARADROID (CBM 64)
5) WORLD CLASS LEADERBOARD (AMIGA & CBM 64)
4) JIMMY WHITES WHIRLWIND SNOOKER (AMIGA & PC)
3) SENSIBLE SOCCER (AMIGA)
2) TRANSPORT TYCOON DELUXE (PC)
And finally...
1) INTERNATIONAL 3D TENNIS (CBM 64 & AMIGA)

I was just about to type in what I thought was Falcon Patrol...
But then I realised it was StarFox... :)
Then I thought it was Thanatos...
Then, for some reason, I got it mixed up with Blagger ???
(Best leave that one :) )
Then I gave up for a bit... :)
Unfortunatly it came to me in the pub early Sunday afternoon...
(I never usually remember stuff like that after I walk out of the saloon doors :))
Wasnt it a sideways scrolling falcon (although, for some reason I always thought it was a harier jump jet?) game? ... Alrthough less like the Airwolf games, more like dropzone?
Was it a Virgin game?!?!
Just wondering... did/do you write C64 or CBM64?
It was very much like dropzone with its sideways scrolling but played slower and you had less units attacking you. You also had to land to replenish your fuel (for some reason called GAS in the game) otherwise you would eventually crash in spectacular fashion.
As for the C64/CBM64 thing, i always went with the way it was written on the packaging which normally went CBM 64/128 CASSETTE or if you had it DISK. But i`ve also seen it appear as C64 about the time the ill-fated C64 console was launched, y`know that keyboard-less version of the original which was supposed to spark off a new era of cartridge based software for the Commodore. It failed.
Oh, and do please tell me to stop when i start rabbiting on like this, its my age showing!!! :)

Yeah, I always remeber the packaging writing CBM64... but I've (and everyone I know) always wrote C64?
I wondered if it was a US/UK thing?
> about the time the ill-fated C64 console was launched,
lol... Jesus man... How did you remember that? :)
The only recolection I have is reading an artcle about its release... ???
By the way, you still have`nt given us your top ten...???
Be Warned, many words incoming...
