In many reviews it was suggested that if you got the wrong car at the beginning of GT3, you could be completely stuffed.

I tried out the Volkswagen Beetle, and that was fine. It won me the first Sunday Cup I entered, and from then on, I had a good platform to work from.

What cars did all of you start with?

One last thing. The intro music that was on a PSM2 demo was really good, but they`ve changed it for this version, and in my opinion its less good. This ain`t a problem as I`ll only watch the intro a few times, but still, why change it?

I recently bought an Audi TT, and am in the process of tuning it up. It seems to perform well, but without the full tuning, it is not yet as impressive as I had hoped. I think I got my hopes up because of the amazingness of the audi special in GT2.

Toyota Trueno.....

this is a good starting car in all three GT games....if you can handle RWD which not every beginner can...

my mate tried the Daihatsu Cuore and found that to be a good starter too, surprisingly.

good thing about GT3 is it's much harder at the start than the other 2 games...should mean those Escudo-buying wall-bouncers won't be able to thrash everyone straight away....shame the Escudo's so cheap now, though.

I chose the MX-5. It's a challenge on the first few races and stays that way.

And then I found that the Trueno was quite good so I started again with a Demio.

I have started off with a Trueno as I wanted a challenge, not to be able to romp home every race in a MX-5. I was going to choose a Demio to make it really hard but they are just so slow its unbelievable.

Iam doing arcade so I wont be on GT mode until Sunday. I have heard from the people who have the Jap copy that the Truneo is the best car to start with or maybe the Yaris.

I am going to get the Beetle or the Yaris. Then after that I will not get the R34 Skyline as I made the mistake of getting the R33 Skyline in GT1 and it made it very easy. I cant wait to get the TVR Tusan in all of the flip paints as they look amazing. I will also get the 2 RUF's that are based on the current Porche models. I want to take GT3 slowly and not get the best car start away.
