Cheers guys
After I was playing the game for a while, all of a sudden the wheel stopped working all together (mid race) and the Dual Shock's action buttons (x,o,triangle, square) also stopped. I unplugged the USB plug on the GT Wheel from the PS2 and then reconnected it and it was fine again. This has happened twice.
It may be a bug in the game rather than my equipment as it happened on both the wheel and the controller.
no volume control so the music and Sound effects are mixed at the same level which doesn't sound very good.
the rally courses as beautifull as they are they have walls on both sides which means if you loose control you keep going on the track, in other words you don't need much skill.
should use the time of day feature which would REALLY make the enviroment come to life, imagine seeing the sun set and the stars appear.(maybe even link to the net for weather updates in your region) haha that would be sweet
The other cars just go round while you do how many laps, the challenge is for you not to screw up.
I have to keep looking at various places like the map,my position instead of keeping my eyes on the road.
In other rally games you know how arrows show up on the screen and say "hard left"etc well i just think they're should be an option to enable it.
should have more options to remove the stuff on screen, they have for the replays (d'oh)
I didn't expect an offical game to have so much jagged edges, they're on the side but still it's a bit off.
This title makes an excellent overall game out of driving cars and the SO real enviroments make this really feel like you're behind the wheel.
These aside this is by far the best racing game on the PS2 and i thought sega rally looked good haha, nah seriously this game has excellent graphics and once mastered it's a really fantastic game and an excellent soundtrack.
Alot of people say some dreamcast games are the real driving simulator and well maybe but no game captures the driving experience like GT3.
wow that was longer than i thought.
>I love everything apart from the pop up
The only place I noticed pop up is the rear view mirror, and perhaps a little in 2p. I didn`t notice it at all in 1p
>Also not having volue control for the music and SE.
Surely you can go to the main screen options outside arcade mode. That must have a volume control. (Though I haven`t looked).
This game is awesome, I love everything apart from the pop up and not having it full screen, as my screen seems to go off at an slight angle. Also not having volue control for the music and SE.
Cheers guys
