Bye Bye Headphones, Hello Neckphones!

A South Korean company has designed a pair of Neckphones for Gamers that will enhance their vision and feeling of games.

The Neckphones rest on your shoulders and have little speakers in them, so instead of having the uncomfortable feel of plugs in your ears you now have a just a small u-shaped wire up your back.

At around £70 the Neckphones seem quite expensive, that is until you realise how much money you are saving. The Neckphones are meant to have the same effect as surround sound meaning you don’t have to place big, bulky speakers all around the room.

All sounds good so far...

It gets better...

The device also has a small “vibration generator” that sends quivers through your body, much like the Playstation Analogue controller does with your hands.

These products are designed primarily for PC users, but if they are successful in Japan and the USA (where they are currently being launched) then I can definitely see them heading the way of the game consoles.

I think that this contraption will take gaming to the next level... Do you?

Meh, they are no substitute for 400watt speakers and a 36 square foot room.

Come to think of it, I really don't know why we bothered painting it...

These neckphones sound interesting, particularly if they can actually give the impression of a surround sound.

A bit expensive for me at present, however if they become popular then Im sure theyll appear on one of the new consoles in the near future.

Anyhoo... they don't sound very good, BUT thanks for telling us.... I don't mean to be rude, BUT some people don't really care for this sort of thing so you might not get a brillian tesponse!

I can see what you mean, but if there's a device that will make games feel more realistic then it can only be good, no?

True... I do think £70 is a bit pricey, I would probably wait until the price dropped and then buy them

Sounds as though it could be a nice improvement to the gaming world, i would think twice about paying out £70 for it though.
