Theres ALWAYS a console wars topic going around...

And whenever its started up, a few people will post a '*yawn* another console was topic post' before everyone else gets into a fight...

This post is becomming so traditional, that it seems that each forum memeber is taking turns making the statment, or joining in the wars discussion...

(I know Ive done both in the past (sometimes in the same post!?))

Thing is... where do we stand on console wars topics?

Are we tired of them, leaving it for a newbie subject?

Is it really tiresom and SO overdone?

Or just good clean rivalry fun?

I think you should change your tagline to "Harsh, but fair."

At least the console wars topics are interesting.

What else have we got to discuss, whether the GAMECUBE would have a handle as an optional extra?

What colour console you want?

What it should be named?

Like anyone would have any interest in topics like that....

I disagree with the Gamecube vs X-Box console war topics because they make hard reading with all those typos in them.

The X-Box vs PS2 wars tend to be conducted on a much higher plane of intelligence, and rational debate is usually tempered with friendly banter, rather than the 'smack j00 upside da head'/'Shoot j00 wiv my gun' mentality present in other less-enlightened threads regarding such debates.

I actually prefere the Gamecube Vs X-box wars. Why? Because i'd rather share a bath with a horde of pirahnas than buy an over-hyped X-box. And as far as i'm concerned, the GC will be the console for the future.

They are just fun, but they do bring important issues to the fore.

Personally, I think the X-Box vs PS2 console war topics are far superior to the X-Box vs Gamecube or Gamecube vs PS2 topics, but that's just my opinion based on hard and undisputable evidence.

Of course, the added benefit of the X-Box vs PS2 topics is that there are no Nintys present, in general.
