Ive got a little idea that I think would work great on the SR site.

When you click on the stats of a user it currently shows the users nickname, user type (regular, newbie etc) and how long ago they registered.
I think it would look cool if it had a picture of the user on it aswell, about the same size has the little advert that appears on the pop up.

When you register you have the option of entering a taglinE, name, address etc.
All that would be needed is a field that lets you browse your computer and upload your decided picture.
The pictures could be real life photos or just a cartoon of yourself, but whatever it is, it must be of yourself.

I think this would make the forums a little more personal, because you could see a picture of the person you are talking to.

Anyway, your views would be appreciated.

The stats open in another window anyway you plonker! The link should actually just change the existing pop-up stats display to show the photo.

Or you could have a link saying:

Click Here for Photo

and then it loads up in a new window, whis way you dont *have* to see the photo, only if you want to....

As long as the image wasn't put in a table with the stats, it would load the stats up and then start on the picture (with tables, everything in them is loaded before it gets dislayed).

Good idea, but having all the photos on the net will take up more web space, plus it will take longer to load up the personal stats for users that have slower modems. I think that it should be done though.
