After buying the Soul Music animated series on video a long time ago, I always wanted to read the Discworld books. We talked about it before SR went down and Timmargh had recommended Guards! Guards! which I managed to pick up at a second hand bookshop. I really enjoyed the book so I was happy to thank Timmargh for it.
Only recently has pb got me back into Discworld after he very kindly DVD'ed Hogfather for me, which I believe is the sequel to Soul Music? Now I can't shut up about Discworld, much to the annoyance of Alfonse and maybe a few others ;) (sorry guys)
So lately I've been wanting to read more Discworld books. I had started on Wyrd Sisters (last year), but because I'm such a slow reader I had to keep giving it back to the library. Unfortunately they don't have many Discworld books. So while I was creating lots of Wishlists on Amazon for things I'd like to buy after my site is up (and I start earning pennies). I started a Terry Pratchett/Discworld wishlist. I'd only got round to adding one book that got mentioned a lot on here and that was Mort. The first of the Death series =D. Well it was on my list, but now it's in my hands, thanks to Timmargh here ^^
Thanks Timmargh and pb for your generosity. =) It's really nice to get gifts, especially ones I really want, heh.
You hadn't put an address in your wish-list so I used the one on the receipt of the book you sent me.
