No, not like that you filthy muppet!

On the 16th of July, I won my very first GAD for the AI post. Finally, I have felt the thrill and excitement that many of have you have felt before. I have claimed GT3, despite saying I had bought it. The truth is, if I didn't find out I'd won by today I was going to get it anyway. I even had the cheque written out, but thanks to my good friend Dan2K1's very exuberant notifictaion, I now have claimed it instead. Rest assured SR, you will get your dosh as I'm going to buy Monkey Island 4 sooner or later.

In many ways, this GAD belongs to a lot of people. To The Game, for starting his "Give Turbonutter GT3" post. To Dringo, for posting many times last night "I can't believe you haven't won yet", to Bonus, for giving me the idea and of course, to Dan2K1, without whom I would have left for Harrogate without knowing about it.

Many newbies will probably say things such as "Why does he need to tell us that he won?", well for them, here's a brief description. Despite being one of SR's oldest members, registering a mere 4 days after the site was launched, I have never, ever won despite some very good tries that a lot of people has said are "GAD-worthy". I have almost become famous for it, and my lack of winning has cropped up a few times in my profiles other people have written.

Well, thank you all my friends for supporting me through these tough times. Thank you all. I suppose my next challenge will be getting my head through the door!

My story should have won!

Well done Turbo.

Though you probably should have won long before now!

(not that I'm judging you, I think it's good that you waited :-) )

Finally they have stopped giving wins to newbies who post one good, but more often than not, copied review on the site - never post at all, and given a game to someone who actually deserves won. Well done mate!
