Does anyone else still suffer from gaming reflexes? For example when I'm playing any platform game and I'm about to fall to my death, I instantly, instinctively hit "start" then "select" on the joypad.
and the other day I put on Onimusha Warlords for the first time and as the "Capcom" logo came up I found myself pressing; Down, R1, up, L1, Square, X. (roughly translated to the SNES pad as, down,R,up,L,Y,B)
I'll assume that anyone who knows what I mean will know what games have given me these instincts.
Does anyone else suffer from this or am I just going mad?
Oh yeah, I don't have MSN at work 'cos we have a proxy server and a firewall, but when I figure out the password for it i will have MSN.
Although I'll probably get fired for chatting all day instead of doing some work, so maybe it's not such a good idea afterall.
Hang on, no not really.
Street Fighter 2 cheat must always be put in upon a sighting of the Capcom logo.
Start and select take you out of the level without losing a life on Mario games.
...that sort of thing. But then it spreads to other games and the people think you're mad and it's fair enough 'cause you are mad and then they take you away and lokck you in a room and your not allowed to play with the other children anymore.
Does that count?
:-)
