I hope at least one person knows what I'm talking about.

Does anyone else still suffer from gaming reflexes? For example when I'm playing any platform game and I'm about to fall to my death, I instantly, instinctively hit "start" then "select" on the joypad.

and the other day I put on Onimusha Warlords for the first time and as the "Capcom" logo came up I found myself pressing; Down, R1, up, L1, Square, X. (roughly translated to the SNES pad as, down,R,up,L,Y,B)

I'll assume that anyone who knows what I mean will know what games have given me these instincts.

Does anyone else suffer from this or am I just going mad?

So I'll leave the 'water and mirrors' section out of the 'Ninja Chimps' then!

Consequently, Goatboy now has a phobia about any combination of water and mirrors.

The last time it was measured, his beard was 27ft 8in long.

A quick set of rules for those people that suffer from this:

Women, leaning yourself will not make your car clear that corner any better.

Making "Umph" sounds when you attack on beat 'em ups does not aid in any way

Screaming "Go on for **** sake" will not help you pass players on Mario Kart

Lifting the controller slightly will in no way enable your character to jump higher

Smashing your face on a table, inflating your dog with a straw and standing in the middle of the room, bare chested, red faced and screaming with neck veins bulging will not help you in Tomb Raider with that underwater room and mirror bit.

I MEAN REALLY? WHO GOT THAT? WHO ACTUALLY FIGURED THAT BIT OUT?!?!?!

My gaming reflexes were disasterous!

Playing Mario at the age of 8 I would swing the control pad from Left to Right in an attempt to get Mario to jump further...

The only person who jumped was my brother as he got a couple of hands and a controller in his face!

*Smack!*

LOL, the number of times I did that... dear me! my friend got it just as bad n'all!
