Apparently certain US retailers that are now taking pre-orders for the GAMECUBE are doing so in a number of different colours, including Purple, Pink, Silver and Black.

Which will you choose....?

It matters to me, if you have a crap colour you will get a good slagging.

I heard a while back that they were scrapping the idea of different colored ones and sticking with purple. Maybe Im wrong. Anyway does the colour really matter to anyone?

Im tied between silver, purple and black, they are all colours that i really like.

I'll take the black one in a PlayStation 2 kind of shape and you might as well put the PlayStation 2 motherboard, processors, graphics chips and VU units in it as well.

nintendo are pritty big on the old color thing for their consoles and this has been growing over the last fey years. The N64 was originally just available in dark grey, but now loads of colours are available. ALos look at the GBA, its available in quite a few colours from launch. I think its a safe bet that we should get multi-cloured cubes.

Yes, but what colour would you like you UK machine to be?

I only stated that this was a US thing, because that's where the pre-orders are being taken.

I'm sure that we too, will get a choice of colour.

IF, and it's a big 'if' (thats why it's in capitals) I get a 'Cube I'll get a purple one to go with my GBA.
