Imagine 2k3 but with a jet pack, now instead of one type of armour you have three classes and each have advantages and disadvantages, throw in huge maps and an average 16 a side game and viola.
But there are also vehicles, multiple weapons, grenades, flares , satchel charges, rep packs, sensor jammers, targeting lasers, command consoles, waypointing, and many more features that make it first an foremost a tactical team based game aimed at true FPS players.
There aint nothing else like it. There is twitch in it but its not essential, same as aim skill depends on what you do at any one time.

Was on a katabatic server when I got kicked. Before I went on a different server with my ping and tweaked controls, and it's wonderful.
I was thinking it'd get really dull really fast, but there genuinely does seem to have a "team effort" feel about it, and I just keep on wanting more.

Hehe, what server was that on? Usually people are more tolerant and only kick/vote if you're intentionally teamkilling. You're right about the chat, there isn't much of it and it's easy to miss when some does come up, but due to the nature of the game, it's very easy to script for and there are loads of scripts to filter out the kill messages onto a separate HUD.
You can get one [URL] http://www.mc-team.com/mc/downloads.php?m=2 [/URL] here, the one called FilterMsg.vl2. You'll need the writer's support script called support.vl2, also on there. I can't remember how you set it up but if you play around with it you should get it eventually. (both go under the Gamaedata\Base folder).
Vehicles work by you sort of falling into them in the area of the cockpit, you just sort of walk/fly into them and you're in, then leave by pressing jump - whatever you have that set as being. I tend to use the arrow keys for movement, control for jump, RMB for jet and shift, del, end and such for various other things but it's probably easier to use the WASD thing since you have so many other keys closeby.

I was downloading at the time as I only wanted to give it a test go. My ping was at 130+, so I would never have got full fun out of it. It was pretty funny though, obviously not knowing th controls was a bit of a downer, I was constantly jumping out of the vehicles and having no idea how to get back in. I also got kicked in the end because I fired 1 laser shot at some loser.

"You have been disconnected."

Not enough speaking, I still like to chat on online games, such as MOHAA has plenty of room for talking, and T2 simply didn't allow for any words to be spoken at all.
Also people should learn to relax more. You've got infinate lives for Chrit's sake, I lasered you down to 6/8 of your health, and harrr, I'm kicked.
I look foward to playing some of you online sometime however.

2) Go through the email verification thingy, verify the address using the link in the mail they send you.
3) Log out of FP using the link on the left
4) Log back in
5) Go back to the link in 1) and re fill out the form, and submit
6) Do the image text thing (But it's hard to see), then await your email with the CD key.
Failing that, tell me your email and I'll send you the one I got earlier.
