Advance Wars 2 is my favourite GBA game, but considering you like platformers and things like that, I think you may like the Sonic Advance games.

Holy crap, another one of these threads. Well:

Platformer/Adventure: Mario Advance 3, Metroid..
Racing: Mario Kart, F-Zero..
RPG: Golden Sun, Mario & Luigi, Harvest Moon..
Party: Wario Ware..

I'm sure I've missed some out.

There're loads of good GBA games, it all depends on what you like, and what you feel you are best at. Personally, I like platformers, and RPGs, so I got the 4 Super Mario Advances, and I'm about to get Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance ^_^
Fun.
