I didn't expect it to have big rocket lauchers and guns like that and I'm not bothered with that. I am just saying that it is too realistic, it is meant to be a game. It is very annoying when you don't know how much health you have and unless you are a highly trained doctor you don't know if you are going to die running into the cafe shooting everyone or if you will you survive. Another thing that really annoys me is when you try and steal a car and you get ran over and you die. That is no fun. In Grand Theft Auto games, getting ran over by a car does about 30 damage to you and that is only about a third of your life. When you get hurt, you walk with a limp. Some people will love the realism but I hate running away (or walking rather) when you have a limp. You almost always die. Another thing that I don't understand is the way to regain health. If it is so realistic then my don't you put on bandages or something. Leaning against a wall doesn't make you recover in real life. I really do hope that The Getaway 2 focuses on the fun side rather than the realistic side.

The game isnt bad, but it made all the more difficult with its dodgy control system and bad camera angles. Its frustrating, but not impossible to get through.
It's the overall gameplay dynamics that I find too realistic.
It really isn't that hard a game if you have a brain though all they really are is gunfights but you have to get a bit more tactical then GTA. I myself wont complain if its the same because im not going to buy it anyway for some reason my love for The Getawayhas dissipated into the back of my brain. Though I miyself think GTA is a bit on the stupid side due to health issues I mean you could never jump of a 30 story building and end up living.
So yeah im not much for both of the games I prefere something that isn't really mindless so the Getaway for me rates higher then GTA.

I agree. It is weird that you can sprint just as good when you have 001 health as when you have 100 health.
I personally don't give a damn if it takes ten seconds to get to 60mph in a Vauxhall or whatever rubbish car you're driving in The Getaway - I want to speed off and have a decent car chase.
That's why GTA3's driving will always be much better than The Getaway's.
