I was thinking to myself the other day, why can’t you plug the Nintendo broadband adapter into your network card, and connect to somebody else’s Gamecube somewhere else, at the other side of the world?

[Cube]---Broadband-adapter--{Ethernet cable}----(network card){computer}----> (HOST) <----{computer}{network card)----{Ethernet cable}--Broadband-adapter---[Cube]

Thinking back, I realized that this had been done on LAN enabled Xbox games, that didn’t utilize Xbox Live - One Example is Halo.

So I decided to search the net, for Cube-online. Hello and behold I found Warppipe.com http://www.warppipe.com/

Warppipe.com is the host in my diagram above, although I haven’t tried it yet, I’m starting to get giddy. Currently warppipe supports Mario Kart, Kirby Air ride, and 1080. - But you can expect so see all the LAN enabled games coming to warppipe soon.

Has anybody else encountered this, and will anybody give it a go, when they start making Broadband adapters for PSO III ?
