[B] Pardon the !!!!!!!! but it had to be done, i mean, the title! i was just looking on HMV's site on the reccomended xbox games. there was the usual, you know? Halo 2. and then i saw it! Goldeneye 2. Goldenye on the N64 is a classic, and if xbox and who ever are making this sequel make it better then it will blow me away! it's one hell of a quality game on the 64-bit N64, but the sequel on xbox! it will rule all, period. this is all it says on HMV. sounds good. gonna look into it tommorow when i'm awake. glad i'm not dreaming though! :-D

I'm not getting my hopes up for this game, I will pray for the good name of Goldeneye it will be half decent. *crosses fingers*

I doubt any console shooter can match the might of goldeneye.

I was being serious in my last post in this thread, they're rethinking this game through, and one of the big issues the testers had was that they didn't like playing the bad guy. Buy PSM2 if you don't believe me.

I can't help but get slightly excited about it though. :)

yeah i get that, man. but a big reason to why i'm interested in it is because it's a modern-day FPS. and xbox don't exactly have a few of them :-)

...and i don't mind offing the odd 00 agent i come across, or popping an innocent person who's in my way. mwahahaah! :-D

Read the storyline back to yourself, there's the main reason why they can't match it.

Rare in 1996/7. And EA in 2004.

i'm with you there mate! Goldeneye is on a 64-bit cartrige. Goldeneye 2 will be on a pc-spec like xbox machine! why can't they match it?? :-)

EA have had to seriously rethink Goldeneye 2. Basically some big executives told them that it was a load of crap so they've had to start it over again.
