The Nintendo 64 edition of Super Smash Bros. was incredible. And the GameCube version promises to be even more amazing. It is scheduled for a release alongside the system on November 5th. Features:

Choose from your all-time favorite Nintendo characters, including Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Kirby, Yoshi and others making their NINTENDO GAMECUBE debut - and battle using signature moves and weapons.
Move through more than a dozen different stages based on virtually every hit Nintendo game.
Battle in arenas pulled straight from the lush worlds of the Nintendo universe.
Show 'em your moves in decision matches that judge how well you battle, then test your might in a new tournament mode that can handle up to 64 entrants.
Follow four different rules for battles:
Stock - Fight to be the last one standing.
Coin - Capture the most coins. -
Decision - Aim to get higher scores by using special combinations.
Time - Battle against the clock to get the most KOs.
Grab Poké Balls and use the Pokémon® inside, including Charizard, Lugia, Entei and more!
Earn points and trade them for figures of favorite Nintendo characters.
Unlock hidden modes and characters, and fight your way into the ultimate melee battle against multiple enemies.
Super Smash Brothers Melee items:

Flipper: It is thrown and put in the air and anyone who jumps and touches it will be bumped back
Frezzie: This is an Ice block that can be thrown to your opponets. You might be able to freeze your opponent with this.
Mr. Saturn: This item can be thrown at opponents and will drop some items for you.
Parasol: It can be thrown or you can fight with it.
Paper Ball: A huge ball that drops items down.
Super scope: A laser machine gun
Also, the barrels will return to this game, plus, the Dr. Mario pills will be on the game instead of the capsule.

"This game is a great way to bring our unique proprietary characters together to create a huge smash hit," says Peter Main, executive vice president, sales and marketing, Nintendo of America Inc. "We combined more than a dozen lush backgrounds from the most popular Nintendo games and enhanced them with state-of-the-art graphics and special features to create a frantic, frenzied romp that will leave players wanting more."

i hopes so that would be good. By the way for people reading this I don't hate DK (he happens to be my best character on smash bros) its just Bowser is the best character in Nintendo history for me. i know he gets beat by a fat a#se plumber but give him credit, how long did it take the DK family to stop being bad guys eh? At least Bowser will keep trying. I think its about time he got a game of his own, be the bad guy like in Wario Land.
