If somebody could shed a bit of light on my 2 questions, I would be very grateful.

Number One: Are we likely to see Mario 128 appear now the E3 period is nearly over?
Number Two: I know the realistic Zelda is looking superb, but its not Wind Waker 2, and I was really looking forward to a sequel. Are we likely to see a Wind Waker 2 on the Cube, or has this possibility totally been ruled out? If not, it might spring up on The Revolution (N5) or even the DS :)

Thanks for your Time: ;)

Aye your probably right there Gerrid, hands down.
What ever it is, i can't wait to get my hands on it. I'll probably end up importing this beauty.

The game uses the Wind Waker engine. It isn't Ocarina of Time 2 because that, in the Zelda timeline, can't exist.
I bet you it is Wind Waker 2, just not Cel-Shaded. Just because the graphics aren't the same doesn't mean it isn't the same storyline. For instance, it could be that the whole of the Wind Waker world was drained, leaving Hyrule dry and accessible again.

But the Link from Ocarina of Time went to Termina and never returned. Him and Zelda (Link I and Princess Zelda II), died, probably of natural causes, with the next Link and Zelda appearing in A Link To The Past, I believe.

I'm not worried about the story yet; still over the moon that this one was realistic and not cel-shaded.

I don't think this is wind waker 2.
Its set in the Ocarina of Time era, not a drop of water in sight, back to the horse back *and* at the end of the trailer of this new Zelda it says: The legend of Zelda - Not the words Wind Waker 2 in sight.
If anything - I bet its Ocarina 2

So if that’s true then question 2 still stands: What’s happened to Wind Waker 2!

Exactly as gerrid said.

You never know, but if you mean that you are looking for another cel-shaded Zelda on the Cube i can't see it happening, although with the DS now in place there are possibilities.

Mrio 128 will be at next years E3

The realistic Zelda is Wind Waker 2 - it uses the same engine and probably features the same link, just grown up. As cel-shadedness goes, I don't think we'll ever see another Cel-shaded Zelda game, unless it's on a handheld (GBA2 maybe)

1) Possibly in August 2) The new Zelda is a sequel of sorts, they just didn't reveal too much early on. But as a true cel shaded sequel, I dunno.
