Whenever I type in a web address into my browser, the browser freezes and I have to do Ctrl + Alt + Delete to get rid of the browser that is "not responding". However, I can get onto sites that are in my favourites eg. SR. What is wrong?

this happens at my school on the network, you should try getting to that part of the net throug a different part!
A different part? I'm doing this at home though.

Go throuh a different page using hyperlinks or going to a server!
It's still awkward though.
Have you tried a reinstallation of Internet Explorer?
I might do that.
Emmm, yeah right, that's a funny one, dunno, maybe a reinstall might help, but then again, maybe not. Does it only freeze after you hit enter, or just whenever you begin to type???
Have you installed the Kazar filesharing program?
