Whenever I type in a web address into my browser, the browser freezes and I have to do Ctrl + Alt + Delete to get rid of the browser that is "not responding". However, I can get onto sites that are in my favourites eg. SR. What is wrong?

It usually happens if you run to much on windows, shut down any programs you don't need, also if you are using a version that needs a better proccesor to run it it sometimes freezes.

Basically the problem can be dated back to when you first choose Microsoft Windows as your operating system, however if this is not the case the problem is simple.... STOP USING INTERNET EXPLORER!

There. Sorted..

Not quite sure about that one, never come across a problem like that. Try installing a newer version of Internet Explorer from www.microsoft.com , try and get version 5 because version 6 is still in beta testing stages.

Have you tried clicking on 'Go' instead of pressing enter?
