"Ghost Recon or Socom : Which is better"

I was thinking of getting Ghost Recon 2 and I've been on a demo.But I was also thinking of getting Socom 2. I havn't played on Socom.

I liked the realistic strategy in Ghost Recon from what I played in the demo. But is Socom better? and whats the difference?

I was hoping you guys or girls could help me here?

Rainbow Six 3 is awful for the PS2.

I personally found Ghost Recon a very dull and repetitive affair when I played it on the Xbox. Bland environments and samey gameplay - it wasn't long before it was back in the box and forgotten.

Rainbow Six 3 is superior.

Secondly, I will answer your question. I enjoyed Ghost Recon more but the majority of the population like SOCOM more. It's really your choice.
