The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
However I was thinking it may also be useful to have a Top Ten claimed games list, or claimed DVD list for gameaday and filmaday respectively.
I think it would be a good idea and it may also help customers with their buying decisions.
What does everyone think.
Why do you record the number of words that a member of ukchatforums has posted?
Also do you record characters, and is there any chance of showing the poster with the highset number of characters as well as posts and words.
That wouldn't lead to many people ending posts like this.

Interesting - who is selling it a £9.99? We actually couldn't get any for some considerable time, so we thought we were doing well at £29.99. Even so, we only have limited supplies.

Yes, but the tendency would be for more complex tables, bigger graphics and more pictures.
(the people still using a 640x480 res are also the people not on the net... Its hard to run Win95+ in a 640x480 environment)
So to capture the optimum range of people 800x600 res is used...

Exactly. One of the first rule of webdesign: Lowest common denominator, and that very common denominator happens to be 800x600.
