I am playing Farcry on the net on multiplayer mode and it seems like i die a lot easier than everyone else (ie - with one shot, whereas when killing someone else it takes 3 or 4 shots for them to die!) Why is this? If anyone can give me some advise or knows of any cheats it would be much appreciated.

Try aiming at your opponents head, typically a headshot yields a one shot kill.

It's an online game, he's asking for cheats, which is a banable offence in online games. If you are new to online gaming, welcome, you've just learnt the first rule of online skirmishes, no matter how good you think you are in the single player, that don't count for bagger all against real opponents. It's not something you can drop into and it requires allot of patients and hell of allot of skill. You'd be better of with something like UT2004, you don't have to be good there, but it's a good starting block.

Take the CD out, cover it completely in scratches, smear peanut butter on it and pop it back in the CD-Drive. You'll have unlocked the hidden "super cool invincible cheat!" which gives you impenetrable armour, a jet pack, the ability to freeze all other players and crash their computers, unlimited access to all porn sites in the world and the power to spawn vehicles by simply head butting the monitor repeatedly until you draw blood.
the basic tips i suppose - always keep moving (unless you know the enemy's where you're running to of course), keep to strcutures, reload in safe places etc.
