There was a game released for the C64, wherein you played the part of a baby, lost in a department store, who had to search through the departments, from Lost and Found, trying to find his parents? ...

Was it caled Lost and Found? ... Anyone have any ideas?

Does anybody else have any games, which they used to play, but cant for the life of them remember the title of?

Thats right... 'Hard Days Night' ...

Although, I think the C64 version had the original Arcade tune?

I think I had that for the ZX Speccy!

I think there was a Beatles song (or tune on the speccy) as the theme for it!

What was that 'Elephant Never Forgets' company called?

I seem to remeber I used to see their ads a lot in the early eighties...

And then they suddenly stopped...

And I discovered, years later, that they had sunk all their cash into advertising in the 'Wargames' movie, and failed to get their required returns? :)

Do wish that Tony would re-introduce

It true... they were the best text adventures on the market...

(although, for some reason Text Adventures are now called Interactive Fiction for some reason?)

Lol! Yeah, not wrong there..!!!

That got me thinking about some other "white elephant" stories, like all the hype surrounding Rise of the Robots, the collaspe of Mirrorsoft (along with its owner!), and the countless coin-op conversions the 8 bit market endured like Afterburner, OutRun and Hard Drivin`, all instantly forgettable!!!!

Do wish that Tony would re-introduce the Rainbird label and sell his own or signed-up games on it via Special Reserve, because i always found that label to have good, high quality titles (Starglider, Carrier Command, Morpheus, The Guild of Thieves etc...) which also recieved good reviews and high praise in the press.

But as to your game, i`m still coming up blank on

I've got a feeling the game was called Lost and Found? ...

I've got a cd-rom with a load of C64 snapshots on around somewhere, I'll take a look and see if its stuck on there? :)

Aye... didnt Imaginee used to run those comic strip ads about working for them as a games programmer... Which would then allow you to become increadably rich and own a ferrari?

Before prompty going bankrupt?

:)

Aye, true... it had to happen though...

Problem is... If someone was born in the year of the Speccy 48K's release, then they would currently be 19...

I'm just too old for my own good :)

As for your game, thats even got me stumped!,

I'm pretty sure it was a Microgen title...

Wasnt that an Acrcade game about a high school kid, Mikey, doing 80's high-school things, over several levels...

Here`s a problem for you, Mr Shanks...
Too many people nowadays think games started with the N64 and the PSX, and only a few of us original gamers remember the likes of multi-load cassettes and rubber keyboards!!!

I have a vague feeling it sounds like a Software Projects or Microgen release, but then again it could have been something Ocean or Gremlin might of done.

Does the title "Mikey" ring any bells?
