Racing games are starting to get on my nerves, I have rarely got annoyed when typing in the forums, but this is a topic with hatred inside, I waffled yes, but I want to waffle, OK!

GT3??? I really dislike this game, its all been done before... ohhh look at the realism! Who cares? I don't give a monkeys if the car looks good or doesn't, the fact of the matter is that its just the same GT2 engine with a faster console and more cars...

..its these kind of games that ruin the market, nothing original, nothing new, they just knew that giving more realism and a better screen resolution would sell more copies, sad thing is, the people who brought the game are going to go along with the hype and cred the game till GT4 is released.

All the people that have brought this game, hold your horses, yes you will comment it on being the best racer ever, but how is it any different it terms of what the predecessor did? It may be nicer to look at, but then again I am sure more people would prefer watching the Baywatch intro sceen then watching the GT3 intro shots.

Racing games? Crappy Games is a better name, don't get me wrong, I used to love them, the multiplayer racer is near unbeatable to anything else, but then again once a racer has been released that beats all the others, a racer in the future can only improve on small factors (eg cars).

Its going to disgust me when I hear on the people on here talk about how good the game is and how long it has last them??

*cough cough** 'Didn't you say the same thing about the last one? **cough cough**

Once a racer always a racer. Yes, we have had MSR, GT, TOCA, Rally etc... and even the Crazy Taxi car games, the only thing that is left is Train Drivi....ahh.. I see, that has also been done...

Well then shoot me in the foot and tie my head to the clutch, I have found that racing games are only ever going to continue to get better in the form of visuals/internet and multiplayer modes. The oneplayer option has been covered more than the male eyes on Jordans body.

People stop being stupid, the game is the same as it was before, just this time it has ten new cars or something? Last time didn't you have a car which you loved, are you just being gullable.

Shall I tell you the last remaining way to enjoy yourself with a car?? Yes? Well then, put some suspenders on, attach yourself to a fastcar at a set of traffic lights with the suspenders, and watch yourself fly forwards, then backwards towards your impending doom.

Racing Games? HA! They are all the same.

Yes, strange. I have heard many people say they were disappointed with the N64. Actually this was probably the one console I have always found there is a game to be played on it, I suppose it was really a multiplayer console and because I always had three people to play it with at any time I never ever got bored...

..in the past year I have hated Sony for mainly one thing.... yes, they had an actual working PS2 with four control ports, but did they choose it? No! Why? Because they hate me and my family!

Its true!

everything could be better, if thats how you choose to look at it.

I'm opting for being thankful for what I've got.

I expected a lot from my N64 and from Nintendo and was disappointed again and again (Zelda aside). I'll not make that mistake again.

I'll play what I like and enjoy myself!!!! :-)

I never believed that Sony would conquer Nintendo but I think they will stay side by side with them. Microsoft will realise it's been a disaster and pull out and that will be the end of it. There will be a GC, there will be a PS2. Which one there will be more of is another matter but I don't really care. I have a PS2. I like it better than the N64 and probably the GameCube. I can say there will be a PS3 with the same certainty I can say the sun will rise tomorrow. Let Joe Public lose faith in the PS2, I don't mind. As long as I don't get a load of "Ninty is better" in your face crap I don't care.

I chose my PS2, and I'm happy with it. End of story.

Surely the N64 offered us little more than Zelda!

I was quite dissapointed with over 90% of there N64 titles!

(probably a gross exageration - but hey)

Let me please butt in here Dringo as I have some somewhat beautiful information for you.

The Smackdowns, the Final Fantasy's, the Resident Evils and the Tekkens are easily gonna to be GameCube titles... there is not a shadow of a doubt about any of those, infact I also can say that GT3 will be a GameCube title...

Nintendo have the friends they once lost.

Tarrant, if you are happy, then there really is no problem, for I am also happy with my PS2, but I reckon it could be better!

Yes but how long will the 'Johnny Average' public accept the same old rope from Sony, it didn't work for other consoles what is saying that people start actually seeing that waiting just for one game for one console is pointless...

I hope you can understand that I am not mocking the PS2 in anyway, I just feel it strange that a year ago the console was being called untouchable and now it looks like Microsoft and Nintendo have all there available greasy hands on the black box!

Yeah, with hindsight that was a bit of a stupid comment.

Not much though. With the PS2 getting better all the time and Sony's unmissable market presence, it might not be the total future but it will be a bloody big part of it.

Personally in 2 years i would say the PS2 would of gone back to its old ways Smackdown 5 would be announced, Final faantasy 13 would be confirmed, Tomb raider will reappear, Resident Evil 5 would be nearly out, Tekken 5 will be getting lots of hype, Syphon filter 4 would be called brilliant, Timesplitters 3 will be in time for Christmas, GT4 will look as if it is real!

Nintendo will announce Zelda title to come out in 2 years, No word on Mario sequal Platformer, Perfect Dark 2 would come out, a Pokemon title (or several) will be in development, no offense but the PS2 will go back to sequal after sequal after sequal just the same way the PSONE was heading and still is.

Tarrant, Tarrant, TarrAnt!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, nevermind.

Fair point er-no, I'm happy with my purchase and the games I've got and the games on the way.

I realise that not everyone is and I'm not just having some kind of loyalty based blind faith. I'm genuinely happy and don't really see what the fuss is about.

Ignorance IS bliss!!!!!!!!

'The future is PS2'

That was a bold comment Turbonutter, and one that I might quote you on in the future, for the future is completly uncertain in any account, altough looking completly impossible Sega may still be brought out by another company and then this could pay of to this companies advantage... I don't know though... I am no longer an insider with information, I no longer work for Eidos so I have only got office contacts with guys in Wimbledon not in other places in the world...

Ouch... I actually just realised that I am waiting for MGS2 and its still got elevon months to go....
