Racing games are starting to get on my nerves, I have rarely got annoyed when typing in the forums, but this is a topic with hatred inside, I waffled yes, but I want to waffle, OK!

GT3??? I really dislike this game, its all been done before... ohhh look at the realism! Who cares? I don't give a monkeys if the car looks good or doesn't, the fact of the matter is that its just the same GT2 engine with a faster console and more cars...

..its these kind of games that ruin the market, nothing original, nothing new, they just knew that giving more realism and a better screen resolution would sell more copies, sad thing is, the people who brought the game are going to go along with the hype and cred the game till GT4 is released.

All the people that have brought this game, hold your horses, yes you will comment it on being the best racer ever, but how is it any different it terms of what the predecessor did? It may be nicer to look at, but then again I am sure more people would prefer watching the Baywatch intro sceen then watching the GT3 intro shots.

Racing games? Crappy Games is a better name, don't get me wrong, I used to love them, the multiplayer racer is near unbeatable to anything else, but then again once a racer has been released that beats all the others, a racer in the future can only improve on small factors (eg cars).

Its going to disgust me when I hear on the people on here talk about how good the game is and how long it has last them??

*cough cough** 'Didn't you say the same thing about the last one? **cough cough**

Once a racer always a racer. Yes, we have had MSR, GT, TOCA, Rally etc... and even the Crazy Taxi car games, the only thing that is left is Train Drivi....ahh.. I see, that has also been done...

Well then shoot me in the foot and tie my head to the clutch, I have found that racing games are only ever going to continue to get better in the form of visuals/internet and multiplayer modes. The oneplayer option has been covered more than the male eyes on Jordans body.

People stop being stupid, the game is the same as it was before, just this time it has ten new cars or something? Last time didn't you have a car which you loved, are you just being gullable.

Shall I tell you the last remaining way to enjoy yourself with a car?? Yes? Well then, put some suspenders on, attach yourself to a fastcar at a set of traffic lights with the suspenders, and watch yourself fly forwards, then backwards towards your impending doom.

Racing Games? HA! They are all the same.

Yeah, my top posters position is under threat from GT3 but I will have to go away from it sometime. Hopefully.

Well, if I disappear on July 20th you'll know why.

I love GT3!!!!!!!! Brilliant game, and the cars are nothing short of gorgeous. Brilliant soundtrack and a force Feedback steering wheel to boot, the days of me visiting the FOG because I am bored are numbered.

I will hate and loath all RR games until they sort out that bloody collision detection.

RR64 is another of the most overlooked games of all time! When I had it I felt it to be one of the best racers I had ever played and the fact that four people could enjoy the game with no slowdown made me recommend it to others.... infact I do believe Sniper brought it..

I think the top five racers of all time were:

5) F Zero X N64
4) Ridge Racer 64 N64
3) Daytona USA Arcade, Saturn, Dreamcast
2) Metropolis Street Racer Dreamcast
1) Lotus Challenge Spectrum +2

er-no is right there was more innovation in the racing genre in the 1980s and 1990s than there is today...Chase HQ, Stunt Car Racer and that Stunt Car Game where you got to go up ramps and drive upside down spring to mind.

The only game near innovative these days has been driver.... even Spy Hunter was innovative in its KnightRider like gameplay.

I`m not going to argue the point about racing games. I personally love racers such as GT and Wipeout, but its down to personal preference.

However, I must say that there is no such thing as a neutral here. Everyone has a side. I had an N64 and a PSX, but definitely favoured the PS. Even though you may test all consoles and loads of games, you are definitely not a neutral. It is impossible to surpress all feelings towards each console.

It is a rather cool move :-D

go to the cheat screen and put in TRICKSTER. You can pull off everyones special move with one rider... makes for massive scores in stunt mode :-D
