Anyone got any idea how I kill the guy manning the machine gun in the helicopter on the Archive level of Far Cry? I seem to let off endless rounds of ammunition and grenades and he just doesn't seem to want to die......

Me not telling you what happens at the end of the game probably still won't avoid dissapointment. It's a fairly naff ending compared to what the rest of the game has to offer.

Yeah thats exactly what happened when Idid it. He gets stuck on the crane then all you do is pound the crap outta him. I stopped playing it though so don't know whether he got eaten by the sharks.

Is this the helicopter battle out in the ocean where you're stuck on a boat? If it is, no trick to it really, just keep shooting until you down the helicopter. Funny thing happened when I was playing, the helicopter got stuck on the crane that was protruding from the boat and it couldn't hit me, so I picked it off from afar with a rocket launcher.
