(I cant remember what the other one is called)

I wanted to know if these are worth it, i've seen loads of NTSC games that I want but my Cube wont be able to play it without one of these Freeloaders.

What exactly is Freeloader?

How long does it take to load up games?

Is 'The Other One' Better?

Are they Worth it?

Thanks.

It asked me something like does your TV support PAL -60 and I said yes.

How do I know if it does or not?

Will the games play if it does?

Both the same, Action Replay has Freeloader built in, but Freeloader on its own is cheaper. Works too, but don't get the earlier version (0.5 I believe) as it won't work with a lot of the newer games.

I have it and it's pretty simple to use.

To test to see if your TV supports 60Hz mode, put in Super Mario Sunshine and hold b when turning it on. Eventually an option will appear sasking if you want to display in 60hz mode.

Select yes.

If you can still see everything fine, your TV supports it.

'the other one' I believe you're referring to is the Action Replay. Get that if you want to ensure full compatability with NTSC games - it's more up to date.

It's easy to use - just put the disc in, select the region and it tells you to put the game in. Done.

My TV is about 7 years old, but there is my sister's TV...

How can I tell if I have a NTSC TV or not?

It's just a disc that you put in the GC, then it'll tell you to put the NTSC game in, and it'll run fine. Pretty quick, I assume.

Although you'll have to have a NTSC compatible telly, which shouldn't be a problem if it's vaguely new.
