I wanted to know if these are worth it, i've seen loads of NTSC games that I want but my Cube wont be able to play it without one of these Freeloaders.
What exactly is Freeloader?
How long does it take to load up games?
Is 'The Other One' Better?
Are they Worth it?
Thanks.
Everyone answers my question and then you have to come in, whats your problem?
Your turning into Azul, or even worse...Nash.
You need - 100% need - the Freeloader to play NTSC games on a PAL console. You only need the converter if your telly isn't compatible: - it won't be needed in most cases.
That Convertor looks more promising and I do have enough for it, will I still have to get Action Replay?
If not I will definately get it.
Has anyone ordered from that site?
If so, is it good?
If not, get the weird converter thingy and you're sorted.
I'll wait until I actually get the Cube, im expecting it on Monday.
Just to confuse you some more.
If you put a game into 60Hz and the picture comes out fine - in colour, and it should actually look better than in 50Hz, then you'll be fine. Take the Wind Waker or Mario Sunshine for example, hold B while the game loads up and you'll be able to change to 60Hz.
The only game I can think of with a NTSC 60Hz mode is Ico on the PS2, which comes out in black and white if I change to it on my telly.
You may need one of these:

Best to ask someone else.
