Hah!

It won't come out on PS2. Even if it does (very unlikely), you'll want to get it on PC.

It will be released on PC first, then X-Box and PS2(rumours of PS2, but there is talk among the developers). The game has been confirmed of completion at E3, but not the release. I guess I will messing around with the 1st one till' it comes out.

Given the incredibly impressive physics and graphics engine, not to mention the diversity and sheer scale to the game, I'd be incredibly surprised to see this appear on PS2.

Xbox, yes, due to the similarities in hardware, but the more likely option after that is a release title for the N5 and PS3. If you guys do get it this generation, in some bizarre twist, it'll be a severly downscaled version that will pale in comparison to the PC. No doubt it'll still be good - the good developers at Valve are geniuses after all - but you'd want to play it as originally intended.

The only place this game is worth getting is the PC. I am spending a further £1000 just to make sure I can run this and Doom 3.

Having said that, Half-Life 2 does have surprisingly low specs. But you would, of course, want to experience it at its full potential.

Won't be appearing on the PS2, at least not without some major chopping to it anyway.

I'll be getting it for PC anyway, it's a game that should be played on PC really. Nothing beats a keyboard and mouse for FPS shooter games
