Just wondering - i know its been done before.

What game from EACH console would YOU take on a desert island with you?

N64: Conkers Bad Fur Day (I'd need the humour)
DREAMCAST: Jet Set Radio (I'd need the music)
GBA: Chu Chu Rocket (To keep my brain working)
Playstation: Gran Turismo 2 (Just for more fun)
Playsation 2: The Bouncer (No reason - I just like it)
GBC: Bust-a-move2 (To make time tick away)

YOU?

Well. Considering the desert island wouldn't have any power, considering it was a desert island...

I'd take a GBA and about a years supply of batteries. Then I'd add to this, Tetris (GB) as this would never get boring, Fzero, Tony Hawks 2, Mario (the original) and Castlevania.

pb - the realist. Well, some of the time...

fair enough.

About this island thing - lets just say that all you had was a hut with 1 plug socket. That was your only luxury.
OK?

But you'd need a multiplug as well, 'cos yo'd have to plug the telly in also.

I would take:

N64: Pefect Dark (plenty of time to practice for the cheats)
DREAMCAST: Crazy taxi (the offspring soundtrack rocks)
GBA: Super Street Fighter 2 (this is a classic, when released of course)
Playstation: Final Fantasy 7 (it takes Ages to complete)
Playsation 2: Red Faction (It looks good)
GBC: One of the pokemons (Gotta catch 'em all)

You could always take a wind power generator, assuming that there was a breeze on the island. I suppose you could invent a battery that runs on coconut milk as well, but it depends on how many palm trees there were, running out of coconuts halfway through Red Faction would be a bit of a downer.

I suppose you would have to build a rainproof shelter in case it rained on your precious console, then a shelf for the TV, to prevent neck strain from looking at the floor. You could then build a simple armchair and sit there, drinking some coconut milk (but not enough to deplete the running time of the console, of course) and feel like you were at home.

If you took a mobile phone you could order some games from Special Reserve to be parachute dropped on your island, so you get a supply when you are sick of the first lot of games.

I would take:

N64: Pefect Dark definitely

DREAMCAST: Soul Calibur (probably)

GBA: Mario Kart (never played it but it looks good)

Playstation: Metal Gear Solid

Playsation 2: I'd delay my leaving for the island until MGS2 is released.

GBC: A Zelda game. (oracle of ages or seasons)
