Well, not die, just fade away. But it wouldn't suprise me if it comes back into a craze again, well, with GameCube owners anyway. Mainly because of Pokemon Colluseum. Its great for 99p.

They're not necessarily crap games either...
Some games were great while you lasted, but after you finished them, you just know you'll never play them again.

Well technically I didn't. Here we go...
I won ISS 2 as a GAD, I got Medal Of Honour Frontline as a Christmas present and I got Wreckless and Extreme G3 when I swapped Mortal Kombat:DA with Tiltawhirl and I got MK:DA free from NOM.
So I did actually get a game for 99p.

It's not that bad an offer, just trade in the crapest games you have that if you sell you'll get less than a fiver for each.
I just so happened to have Extreme G3, Wreckless, ISS 2 and Medal Of Honor Frontline waiting to go on ebay and if they had gone up I would of been lucky to get £15 for the lot going by how much they currently sell for.
So why not trade them in and get which ever game you want for 99p?

It'll probably work, but since most people aren't going to do that, GAME will overall make a nice profit out of the public as a whole.
If they're included in the trade-in 'special' offer, then you could, and you'd be the profitable one. But I'm assuming Game have done their homework first.
What about if you get 4 copies of Tny Hawks X2 from ebay for a fiver each?
