I heard recently that "Akira" was getting a facelift of sorts.
Apparently its been fully visually restored and been re-dubbed so that the English language version now makes sense (lets face it, good though the other one was,it left you more confused than the subtitled version)
Does anyone know any more about this?
Specifically, the UK release date would be nice! :-)

I have the original in a double box set video thing with a "making of"
It was a good film until the end , with the giant thing in the football stadium.
I just lost the plot and made my own voices up with mates all the way through again.
