Allegedly Nintendo have patented/registered some item that looks very much like a camera attachment for the cube. Here is the article from ign, which contains a couple of picture of the registration. http://cube.ign.com/articles/520/520093p1.html. As far as we know, Nintendo are attempting to recreate the success that the Eyetoy bought to the PS2. Personally i am happy as i can see a load of good mini-games coming from this, perhaps not too disimilar from the likes of Mario Party, and of course containing the usual Nintendo charm. Although it will need a lot of work to avoid the image of a PS2 copycat... Your views please...

You can't really sue a company if you have patented hardware and ideas.

Nintendo patented the D-pad, the Lakitu Camera and literally hundreds of other ideas and they are still copied.

Nintendo admitted that the eye-toy is one of the best ideas a rival company has invented and Nintendo might be planning it.

Although if you ignore the camera it does look like he's clapping above the Bongo drums.

I thought that there was an article about some "new handheld" years ago which was from Nintendo's patents coming through. But it was just one of the Gameboy's patents finally being shown to the public after a few years. But it would be quite cool all the same but I really don't think nintendo would let a patent show and not make some sort of announcement.

That doesn't mean the Nin-toy is going to have anything to do with her.. they may just have been registering the name so some dodgy hentai site can't plaster her name all over it and not worry about the legal implications.
